Dow Declares Force Majeure on Caustic Soda

Dow Chemical says it has declared force majeure on caustic soda from its Freeport, TX chlor-alkali facility. North American and some Latin American customers will be on approximately 90% allocation effective immediately, and the force majeure will remain in effect for a minimum of three months, Dow says.
