European chlorine production in July rose about 1.5% from June levels, to 853,262 tons. This was about 3.3% higher compared with July 2009 volumes of 826,136 tons, Euro Chlor says. However, July caustic soda stocks in Europe were 245,708 tons, about 2.5% lower than June 2010, by 6,416 tons.
