Chlorine production rose about 3.5%, or 30,033 tons, in October compared with September. However, year-on-year chlorine production continues to lag, down nearly 18% in October compared to October 2008. Meanwhile, caustic soda production made slight improvements in October. Production increased 2.1%, to 20,107 tons, from the previous month. However, October caustic soda production volumes were about 15.4% below October 2008...
