Caffaro was previously a member of the Snia group, all parts of which have been in special administration for several months. The facilities encompass plants with capacity for 18,000 m.t./year of chloroparaffins; 24,000 m.t./year of hydrochloric acid; and about 6,000 m.t./year of “special products.” Bertolini Group has also committed to invest €23 million to construct a membrane-technology chlor-alkai plant to replace a mercury-cell...
