Shell to Relax ‘Cracker Plus One’

Shell Chemicals is likely to relax its “cracker plus one” strategy under the stewardship of Ben van Beurden, who took over as Shell Chemicals executive v.p. at the beginning of this year. “Cracker plus one makes sense, but it does not mean that I will constrain myself to that,” van Beurden said at a recent media briefing in London.
