Sasol awards FEED contract to Technip for GTL plant

Sasol announced today that it has selected Technip for the front-end engineering and design (FEED) phase of its previously announced gas-to-liquids (GTL) facility at Westlake, LA. The GTL facility will be built adjacent to its existing Lake Charles chemical complex at Westlake. The facility will convert domestic natural gas into over 96,000 barrels/day of GTL diesel and other products, the company says.
