Air Products to provide LNG technology to Petronas's Malaysian platform

Air Products announced today that it has received an order from Petronas to provide liquefied natural gas (LNG) heat exchangers for an LNG project in Malaysia. The Petronas LNG Train 9 project will produce 3.6 million m.t./year of LNG and is an expansion of Petronas’s existing LNG complex at Bintulu, Sarawak, Malaysia. Petronas will use Air Products’ SplitMR liquefication process and technology for the project. Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
