Markets :: Alternative Fuels :: Gas-to-Liquids Air Products Acquires ASU and Liquefier from Chinese Coal Mining Company10:26 AM MDT | September 13, 2012 | Lindsay Frost Air Products says it has acquired an air separation unit (ASU) and integrated gas liquefier at Guiyang, China from Guizhou Kaiyang Chemical—a joint venture owned by the Yankuang Group (Shandong, China). Air Products will supply Guizhou Kaiyang Chemical’s coal-to-ammonia facility with 2,000 tons/day of gaseous oxygen and nitrogen to be sold under a long-term contract.
