Temporary Order Restricts Gevo from New Customer Shipments; Luverne Startup Continues as Planned

A Delaware judge is restricting biobased isobutanol shipments from Gevo's (Englewood, CO) Luverne, MN plant to existing customers only until the court can rule on a preliminary injunction requested by rival producer Butamax Advanced Biofuel (Wilmington, DE). The temporary order, issued by the U.S. District Court of Delaware, requires Gevo maintain the “status quo," meaning operations at the Luverne plant, commenced late last month, can continue.
