Solazyme and ADM to produce tailored oils at former Telles fermentation plant

Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) has agreed to manufacture up to 100,000 m.t. of Solazyme's (San Francisco) tailored algal oils annually at the Clinton, IA fermentation facility ADM built to manufacture polyhydroxyalkanoate (PHA) for its now-defunct joint venture with Metabolix (Cambridge).
