Patent-infringement claim dismissed in long-running isobutanol feud

Butamax Advanced Biofuels, an isobutanol joint venture owned by DuPont and BP, says the US District Court for the District of Delaware has issued an order dismissing claims by Gevo that Butamax infringed its 8,101,808 ('808)  patent  covering Gevo's GIFT isobutanol removal technology—the latest development in a two-year patent spat that has seen both sides file multiple infringement suits.
