Gevo reports progress producing isobutanol and ethanol at Luverne site

Isobutanol producer Gevo, Inc (Englewood, CO) reports that it has made progress on implementing side-by-side operational mode (SBS), which produces both ethanol and isobutanol, at its Luverne, MN fermentation unit. The Luverne site is the first to deploy Gevo’s technology, which involves retrofitting ethanol plants to produce isobutanol.
