Edeniq, Pacific Ag to collaborate on integrating cellulosic ethanol production into corn-based facilities

Edeniq (Visalia, CA) and Pacific Ag (Hermiston, OR) have entered into a five-year exclusive collaboration agreement to assist existing corn-based ethanol production facilities to add cellulosic ethanol production, Edeniq has announced. The aim is to help diversify feedstock sources; enhance long-term production margins; and help achieve the US Renewable Fuel Standard 2 goal of 36 billion gal of biofuel production by 2022, to provide cleaner fuels, energy security, and economic development, the company says.
