DSM Hones Biotech Strategy, Targets Bio-succinic Acid Production from 2012

DSM says it is closing in on a decision to produce commercial volumes of a series of chemicals derived from bio raw materials, including succinic acid. DSM, jointly with Roquette (Lestrem, France), a food ingredients firm, is in the process of building a bio-succinic acid pilot plant at Lestrem to test DSM’s processing technology.
