Biopolymers: Could PHA Succeed PLA? (update)

Polyhydroxyalkanoates (PHA), a class of biopolymers, could succeed the use of polylactic acid (PLA) in many applications, according to the implications of research presented by George Guo-Qiang Chen, professor of microbiology and biomaterials at Tsinghua University, (Beijing).
