Axens Joins Pyrolysis Oils Collaboration

Axens, public-sector research entity IFP Energies nouvelles (IFPEN; Rueil-Malmaison, France), and pyrolysis fuel technology company Dynamotive (Vancouver) say they will jointly develop and commercialize a process to upgrade pyrolysis oils into transportation fuels. Financial terms were not disclosed. Dynamotive and IFPEN have already been doing analysis and verification work on the economic and technical parameters of the process, and concluded they have competitive advantages over existing processes and technologies.
