Scientists Optimize Single Reactor Yeast Process for Producing Bioethanol from Starch

A group of researchers from the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences (BAS; Sofia, Bulgaria) has devised a system for optimising bioethanol production from starch using a single reactor in which starch is converted to sugars and then to ethanol.
