Researchers discover family of enzymes that degrade biomass into sugars potentially for biofuel production

Researchers from the department of chemistry at York University (York, UK), the Centre National de Recherche Scientifique (Paris), and Aix-Marseille University (Marseille, France) say they have discovered a family of enzymes that can degrade hard-to-digest biomass into its constituent sugars.
