Flint Hills to Acquire Two U.S. Ethanol Plants

Koch Industries’ Flint Hills Resources says it will acquire two ethanol plants from renewable energy company Hawkeye Growth (Ames, IA) located at Menlo and Shell Rock, IA, for an undisclosed sum. The plants both opened in 2008 and each have the capacity to produce about 110 million gal/year of ethanol.
