Markets :: Alternative Fuels :: Bioethanol DuPont and BP to Build Advanced Biofuel Facilities in U.K.4:40 AM MDT | August 7, 2007 | Michelle Bryner DuPont says it will invest $58 million to partly fund the construction of two biofuel facilities to be located at BP’s existing Saltend, U.K. site. The facilities are the result of a partnership agreement among DuPont, BP, and Associate British Food’s (London) British Sugar signed last year to develop, produce, and market biobutanol as a blending component of gasoline (CW, June 28, 2006, p. 13).
