CHS buys Illinois River Energy

Ag business co-op CHS announced today that it has acquired Illinois River Energy from Sinav (London). Financial terms have not been disclosed. The 133-million gal/year year ethanol plant will be rebranded as CHS, and the site's 60 employees will transfer to CHS. CHS says it markets renewable fuels to energy customers across the United States and through 1,400 Cenex-branded retail petroleum outlets and markets dried distillers grains with solubles globally on behalf of more than 20 ethanol plants across the...
