Bayer CropScience Links with Brazilian Unit in Sugarcane R&D

Bayer CropScience and Centro de Tecnologia Canavieira (CTC; Sao Paulo) say they intend to enter into a broad R&D cooperation in biotech sugarcane. The main goal is to combine the expertise of both partners to develop varieties with higher sugar content, aiming to increase the production efficiency of ethanol.
