Evonik Breaks Ground on Catalyst Plant in Argentina

Evonik says it has broken ground on the construction of a previously announced biodiesel catalyst plant at Puerto General San Martin, Argentina.   The detail engineering of the facility is already complete. The plant, which is expected to be operational by the end of 2012 at the latest, will supply ready-to-use alcoholates as catalysts for the production of biodiesel from renewable resources.
