EU Biodiesel Industry Seeks Antidumping Duties on Imports from Argentina, Indonesia

The European biodiesel industry has lodged a formal complaint with the European Commission against alleged dumping of biodiesel from Argentina and Indonesia in European Union (EU) markets. The European Biodiesel Board (EBB; Brussels), an industry association, made the complaint on behalf of EU producers and says it is seeking EU antidumping duties, and possibly antisubsidy measures, against biodiesel imported from Argentina and Indonesia. EBB says that EU imports of biodiesel from Argentina and Indonesia have risen sharply since 2008, undercutting prices charged...
