Chemical Week, Indian Chemical Council, and Chemical & Petrochemical Manufacturers Association partner again on the Third Annual India Chemical Industry Outlook

As the world’s attention is focused on recovery chemical companies are looking ahead to sustainable growth. The last two years have reshaped the chemical industry and companies are working leaner and smarter and have plans to push forward and grow in 2010 and beyond. At the Third Annual India Chemical Industry Outlook, presented by Chemical Week, the Indian Chemical Council (ICC), and Chemical & Petrochemical Manufacturers Association (CPMA), attendees will find out exactly how the opportunities presented in the dynamic Indian economy, plus global trends, will sustain the chemical industry post recession.  The event will be held February 17-18, 2010 at the Taj Lands End in Mumbai, India.

For the first two years of the conference, attendance averaged more than 200 attendees.  The attendee breakdown for the last two years was 75% Indian, 25% outside India. More than 80% of attendees were chemical companies, around 20% industry service suppliers, consultants, and associations. More than 90% of chemical company attendees are senior level officers including CEOs, Vice Presidents, and Managing Directors. Government representatives from the ministry of chemical and petrochemical in India attend each year.
