World News and Views :: Top of the News YanSab takes ethylene glycol plant offline for maintenance and repairs3:41 AM MST | November 20, 2012 | Natasha Alperowicz Yanbu National Petrochemical Company (YanSab; Yanbu, Saudi Arabia), a Sabic affiliate, says it plans to take its ethylene glycol (EG) plant off line to carry out maintenance and some technical repairs. The plant will be shut down for about 10 weeks starting 25 November 2012. The shutdown will not cause material impact on the company’s fourth quarter financial results because of the availability of EG stocks, YanSab says.
