Wacker launches production at expanded VAE dispersions plant in Korea

Wacker Chemie has launched production at an additional plant for vinyl acetate-ethylene (VAE) copolymer dispersions at its Ulsan facility, in South Korea, the company announced today. The additional 40,000 m.t./year from the facility's second reactor line has almost doubled the site’s VAE-dispersion capacity, to a total of 90,000 m.t./year, making it one of the biggest complexes of its kind in South Korea.
