Wacker hikes dispersible polymer powders capacity in Germany

Wacker Chemie announced today that it will spend €20 million ($27.2 million) to expand the capacity of its dispersible polymer powders capacity at Burghausen, Germany. The company is adding 50,000 m.t./year capacity by the first quarter of 2015. “The capacity expansion strengthens our global position as a leading manufacturer of dispersible polymer powders,” says Arno von der Eltz, president/polymers at Wacker.
