World News and Views :: Top of the News Wacker Forecasts Substantial Earnings and Sales Improvement in 20106:54 AM MDT | March 24, 2010 | Robert Westervelt Wacker Chemie says it expects substantial improvement in sales and earnings in 2010, noting that volume and sales recovery has continued through January and February. “Wacker has resumed a growth trajectory,” Wacker CEO Rudolf Staudigl said at the company’s annual results conference today in Munich. The company’s consolidated sales fell 14%, to €3.72 billion in 2009. Ebitda decreased 43%, to €607 million.
