Wacker Forecasts Growth in 2011; Ethylene Pipeline Due This Year

Wacker Chemie has confirmed its preliminary results for 2010, which were announced recently. The results are the best in the company’s history, and Wacker forecasts further growth this year. Separately, the company confirms that the previously announced, and much delayed, ethylene pipeline project that will connect Ludwigshafen with Burghausen, Wacker’s main manufacturing site in Germany, is due “to go live” this fall.
