Veolia to supply Saudi Arabia's largest desalination plant to serve Sadara

Veolia Environment (Paris) has been awarded a contract to supply a desalination plant to Sadara Chemical Co. (Al Jubail, Saudi Arabia), Veolia announced today. Sadara, a joint venture between Saudi Aramco and Dow Chemical, is building a close to $20-billion petrochemical complex at Al Jubail. Veolia Water will design, build and operate what will be the largest ultrafiltration and reverse osmosis desalination plant in Saudi Arabia.  The contract was awarded by Marafiq, Saudi Arabia’s leading water and electricity services operator.
