Sales generated by Germany's chemical industry, excluding pharmaceuticals, will increase 1.5% next year, with selling prices edging up 0.5%, VCI says. VCI, meanwhile, reconfirmed its earlier forecast of a 3% decline in output of chemicals, excluding pharmaceuticals, in Germany in 2012 compared with 2011, and stagnant industry sales of €184.2 billion with selling prices up 2.5%.
