United Phosphorus Buys Colombian Agrochemicals Firm

United Phosphorus (UPL; Mumbai) says it has acquired generic agchem marketing company Evofarms (Bogota, Colombia) in an all cash deal. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. Evofarms has several product registrations in Colombia and has a distribution network covering over 100 customers.
