Unipetrol buys Shell out of Czech refineries, securing supply of petchem feedstocks

Unipetrol (Prague) says it has signed a share purchase agreement with Shell Overseas Investments to acquire Shell’s 16.335% stake in ńĆeská Rafinérská for $27.2 million. Unipetrol, a subsidiary of PKN Orlen (Plock, Poland), will finance the acquisition from its own resources.
