World News and Views :: Top of the News UOP selected to provide technology for propylene project in China9:03 AM MDT | March 19, 2013 | Deepti Ramesh UOP, a Honeywell subsidiary, says it has been selected by Fujian Meide Petrochemical to provide technology to produce propylene in China. Fujian Meide will use the UOP C3 Oleflex process technology to convert propane to propylene at its facility at Fuzhou, Fujian Province, China. Fujian Meide is a wholly owned subsidiary of China Packing Group (Fuzhou). This is UOP's second project with Fujian Meide, the company says. UOP, in 2011, licensed its C3 Oleflex process technology to Fujian Meide to produce 660,000 m.t./year of propylene. The new unit, expected to start...
