UOP Technology Selected for Isobutylene Project in China

UOP, a Honeywell subsidiary, says that Heilongjiang Anruijia Petrochemical has selected the UOP C4 Oleflex process to produce isobutylene, a key ingredient for fuels and synthetic rubber, at its facility in Heilongjiang Province, China. Heilongjiang Anruijia will also use the UOP Butamer process to produce normal butane, a feedstock used to produce ethylene.
