World News and Views :: Top of the News UOP Licenses Propane Dehydrogenation and Isobutane Technology to Yantai Wanhua4:41 AM MDT | October 13, 2011 | Natasha Alperowicz Yantai Wanhua Polyurethanes has licensed the UOP technology to produce propylene and isobutane at its complex at Yantai, China. The facility will use UOP’s C3 Oleflex technology to produce 750,000 m.t./year of propylene from propane and the UOP Butamer process to produce 565,000 m.t./year of isobutane. Yantai Wanhua will, in addition, use UOP’s catalysts and adsorbents in the process units.
