U.S. Industrial Gases Market to Exceed $23 Billion in 2013

The industrial gases market in the U.S., including captive consumption, is set to increase 4.9%/year to $23.5 billion in 2013, according to the findings of a new report by Freedonia (Cleveland, OH), a market research group. Market volume in 2013 will be about 7.5 trillion cu ft.   Demand is being “nurtured” by the ongoing development of new products and technologies that increase demand for industrial gases, and a high degree of stability in markets such as food and beverage processing, and healthcare, Freedonia says.   The petroleum and...
