U.K. Government Awards Grants to Fertilizer and PET Projects

The U.K. government has awarded grants to two chemical projects in northeastern England. The government's newly established Regional Growth Fund awarded £15 million to Cleveland Potash to mine and process polyhalite and it awarded £6.7 million to Lotte Chemical U.K. to build a polyethylene terephthalate (PET) plant.
