Tronox Swings to a Net Profit, Reports Increased Net Sales

Tronox says net sales for the fiscal fourth quarter ended December 31, 2011 were $382.6 million, up by 17.4% compared with $325.8 million in the same quarter of 2010. The company also recorded net profits of $66.2 million in the fiscal fourth quarter of 2011 compared with net losses of $39.5 million in the corresponding period of 2010, Tronox says. Adjusted net profits and adjusted Ebitda on a non-GAAP basis more than doubled year over year, to $77.4 million and $138.7 million, respectively. Tronox says it also publishes its results on a non-GAAP basis...
