Toyo Engineering outlines petchem contract in Turkmenistan

Toyo Engineering today gave more details on a petrochemical contract it is carrying out for a previously announced project for state group Turkmengas (Ashgabat) in Turkmenistan. Toyo’s contract is valued at approximately $800 million. The total investment in the project, based at Turkmenbashi, Balkan Province, is more than $3 billion. Toyo is working in an alliance with Hyundai Engineering Co., Hyundai Engineering & Construction and LG International (Seoul).     The complex will produce ethylene, high-density polyethylene (HDPE), and...
