World News and Views :: Top of the News Toyo Engineering Awarded Contract for Bioethanol Facility in Malaysia12:21 AM MST | January 18, 2012 | Deepti Ramesh Toyo Engineering (Narashino, Japan) says its Toyo Engineering & Construction Sdn. Bhd. (Toyo-Malaysia; Kuala Lumpur) subsidiary has been awarded a contract to build a bioethanol production facility with a capability of 10,000 m.t./year at Johor Bahru, Malaysia. The contract was awarded by a joint venture company between GlycosBio Asia (Petaling Jaya, Malaysia) and Malaysian Bio-XCell (Kuala Lumpur). The plant will produce industrial grade bioethanol from crude glycerin. Toyo-Malaysia will execute the project under a turnkey contract covering engineering...
