Tosoh Acquires Remaining Stake in Nippon Polyurethane

Tosoh says it has acquired the shares it does not own in Nippon Polyurethane Industry Co. (NPU; Tokyo), from Hodogaya Chemical (Tokyo), and that NPU is now a wholly owned subsidiary of Tosoh. NPU, which was established in 1960, produces and sells raw materials for polyurethane -  methylene di-para-phenylene isocyanate (MDI) and toluene diisocyanate (TDI)-, and polyurethane derivatives.
