Toray Swings to Profit

Toray Industries has recorded a net profit of about ¥25 billion ($309 million) for its fiscal first half ended September 30, 2010, compared with a net loss of ¥6.3 billion in the corresponding period of the previous year. Sales increased about 19%, to ¥733 billion.
