Texas Passes 'Fracking' Disclosure Bill9:09 AM MDT | June 6, 2011 | Kara Sissell Texas lawmakers have passed a bill that would require disclosure of chemicals used in the hydraulic fracturing. The process, known as “fracking,” has generated potential drinking water contamination concerns among some lawmakers and environmental groups. The House had passed the disclosure bill earlier this year, and the state Senate passed a version of the fracking bill last week.
