Tessenderlo Reports Increased Sales and Smaller Operating Losses

Tessenderlo Group says sales from continuing operations increased 4.6% year over year in the fourth quarter of 2011, to €489 million ($638 million). Recurring Ebitda (Rebitda) and recurring Ebit (Rebit) from continuing operations decreased 16.4% and 59.6% in the fourth quarter compared with the same quarter of 2010, to €22.8 million and €1 million, respectively, Tessenderlo says. Operating losses from continuing operations shrank 63% year over year, however to €900,000 because of lower non-recurring losses in the fourth quarter of 2011...
