Tensions Rise Over Reach Pre-Registration Numbers

ECHA has published a statement calling on Reach applicants to “reflect upon their pre-registration strategy” and not to unnecessarily pre-register chemical substances. ECHA’s statement follows pre-registration by two companies during the summer of the entire Reach chemicals inventory. Specialty chemicals distributor Azelis has confirmed that it is one of the two companies.
