World News and Views :: Top of the News Teijin to Expand DMT Supply Capability in Japan7:17 AM MDT | July 17, 2012 | Ian Young Teijin has announced plans to enhance its capability to supply dimethyl terephthalate (DMT) from the company's Matsuyama, Japan production site. Teijin will add a line that processes DMT into high-purity briquettes, the form suited best for external sales, the company says. The project represents an investment of about ¥1 billion. Construction will begin in October 2012, and operations are due to start in April 2013.
