World News and Views :: Top of the News Teijin Plans Further Expansion in China11:28 PM MDT | May 17, 2010 | Deepti Ramesh Teijin says it has established a new wholly owned subsidiary dubbed Teijin (China) Investment at Shanghai, to strengthen and expand its business in the Chinese market, which is one of the key markets in Teijin’s growth plans. The new subsidiary will oversee the expansion of Teijin in the rapidly evolving Chinese market, and will also pursue strategic mergers and acquisitions, Teijin says. Teijin aims to expand its annual sales in China from the current ¥100 billion ($1.08 billion) to about ¥300 billion-¥400 billion by 2020. The new subsidiary...
