World News and Views :: Top of the News Tecnimont Awarded $440-Million Polyolefins Contract in India10:35 AM MDT | June 13, 2011 | Natasha Alperowicz Tecnimont (Milan) has been awarded lump-sum turnkey contracts, valued at a combined $440 million, to build three previously announced polyolefin manufacturing plants for ONGC Petro Additions (Opal) at Dahej, India. One of the units will use Ineos’s Innovene technology to produce 340,000 m.t./year of polypropylene, and the other two will be swing units designed to produce 340,000 m.t./year each of high-density or linear low-density polyethylene, based on Ineos’s Innovene G technology.
